North American International Auto Show with Ford Canada

Over the past few months I’ve been thinking about making some changes to this site. I’m not moving out of the food scene, but I do want to add different types of content. What different types you ask, well, that will be determined with time and opportunities, and thanks to Ford Canada, my first opportunity will be here in a few days.

I’m really happy, and excited, to announce that I’ll be one of the lucky people invited by Ford to be their guest at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. This year the show runs from January 11th to the 24th and this is the show that auto makers from around the globe converge to show off their new models and drop their huge announcements. Earlier this year, Ford unveiled the GT, their brand new twin-turbocharged super car and boy did that get people talking.

Not only do people get to see the new models from the auto makers but we also get to hear from the people in charge of these companies. We get to hear their plans for the future of their companies, and the automotive world in general, a little behind the scenes peek, if you will.

I’m not sure what to expect on this trip but I’m told that it’ll be a very busy couple of days. Ford invited 154 people from around the globe so I’m really looking forward to getting to know quite a few of them.

Although this trip isn’t centered around food, I hear that Ford does keep it’s people well fed, so along with my coverage of all things car related, you can bet that I’ll be serving up a nice dose of food porn!
