Here’s something we all know: Niagara Falls is breathtaking! It draws millions of visitors each year to witness its awe-inspiring power. But the Niagara region holds another hidden gem: the best restaurants with a view. These dining spots, operated by Niagara Parks, not only showcase the beauty of the falls but also offer locally sourced dining experiences in Niagara, making them a must-visit for food lovers and adventurers alike
The three restaurants closest to Niagara Falls operated by Niagara Parks are Table Rock Restaurant, Table Rock Bistro & Wine Bar, and Queen Victoria Place Restaurant. Each offers a unique dining experience but the one thing they all have in common is the unbeatable view of Niagara Falls, making these restaurants well worth the visit.

Table Rock House Restaurant: Fine Dining With A View
Table Rock House Restaurant sits just steps from the Horseshoe Falls. The view alone is worth the visit but after trying the food you’ll realize that the restaurant is a whole lot more than just the scenery.
Chef Chris Totah is the man in charge of leading the kitchen. His goal is to use his menu, which changes with the seasons, to showcase local ingredients in some very creative ways. The well-travelled Chef Totah, who is a long way from his home in Mauritius, sources local ingredients and brings a little international flair to the restaurant.
On the lunch menu the Bangers and Mash is a great choice. This isn’t your regular sausage; it’s a grilled honey garlic sausage with buttermilk mashed potatoes, and an endive salad. The sausage itself is thinner and rolled into a spiral before being grilled, and the bitterness of the endive works well to cut through the fat of the sausage. Beef is the star on the dinner menu as the must-try dish is the Smoked Beef Short Rib. You can forget about using your knife because the short-rib is fork-tender. Buttermilk mashed potatoes make an appearance again in this dish alongside honey-roasted carrots, garlic rapini, and chimichurri.
Vegetarians aren’t forgotten here. The Dumpling Bowl is made up of vegetable dumplings, mushroom and gochujang broth, kimchi, bean sprouts, carrots, and shitake mushrooms. Even though there’s no meat in this bowl, there are enough umami-rich ingredients to make this a very satisfying dish.
Dining at Table Rock House Restaurant is more than a meal, it’s an experience. You’ll sit close enough to feel the energy of the Falls while enjoying dishes that celebrate the region.
Table Rock Bistro: Casual Dining With Niagara Falls Views
Table Rock Bistro & Wine Bar is the newest restaurant in the Niagara Parks portfolio. You’ll find it in the same building as Table Rock Restaurant; in fact, it’s literally across the hall!
Table Rock Bistro offers a smaller menu than its big sister across the hall, and has a more relaxed atmosphere. The menus are different but the views of Niagara Falls are just as spectacular, especially from their patio.
Inside the restaurant you’ll find a modern space, with plenty of seating.
Whether you’re sharing or feeling like having a solo feast, we suggest starting with the charcuterie board. It’s loaded with local cheeses, cured meats, crackers, fruit, olives, and house-made pickles. Not only is it a very nice-looking starter, it’s also a very tasty one. For something a little lighter you should consider the Tuna Tataki.
The thing that makes this restaurant extra special is their lineup of wines. Niagara is famous for its vineyards, and the Bistro takes full advantage of this. The wine list features an impressive collection of red and white wines from from nearby wineries. If you need some help deciding what to order just ask the staff as they’re more than happy to help. It may be a wine bar but they also have a great lineup of local beers on tap.
Whether it’s a quick bite or a bottle of wine on the patio on a warm summer evening, Table Rock Bistro & Wine Bar is the perfect mix of casual and classy.
Queen Victoria Place Restaurant: History and Comfort Food
There are quite a few historical buildings along the Niagara River Parkway and one of them is the Queen Victoria Place Restaurant.
Built in 1904, with stones from the bed of the nearby Niagara River, it’s still filled with just as much charm as it was when it first opened. The building first served as the quarters for the Niagara Parks Administration offices. Over the years it has been remodeled multiple times but still retains its distinctive copper roof and chalet-style architecture.
These days, Queen Victoria Place Restaurant is a popular spot offering up panoramic views of both the Horseshoe and American Falls. The large patio is often packed with diners during the summer as they take in the falls and the nightly fireworks.
Like the other Niagara Parks restaurants, many dishes on its menu feature locally-sourced ingredients, Niagara region wines, and a nice selection of craft beer. Normally I don’t order chicken because we tend to cook that quite often at home, but I chose the Roasted Chimichurri Chicken from their lunch menu. The chicken breast came with a romesco sauce, buttermilk mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables. It was a very safe dish and while tasty, personally I would’ve preferred something with some bolder flavours.
The Feast On Program
I noticed the Feast On logo while at Table Rock Bistro & Wine Bar, I didn’t fully realize what it meant at first. But learning about it changed how I think about eating locally. This certification is more than a label. Feast On certified restaurants are committed to meet the following set of criteria:
- Ensuring that at least 25% of the restaurant’s food and alcohol be Ontario-grown or Ontario made.
- Agreeing to the Feast On Manifesto.
- Showcasing local food.
- Participate in networking sessions.
- Attend educational workshops.
- Participate in marketing rewards.
The idea is to capture the flavors of the region while keeping the food as fresh, local, and seasonal as possible.
The best part? By dining at a Feast On certified restaurant means that you’re not just supporting the restaurant but you’re backing local farms, and artisanal producers. It feels good knowing that your food didn’t travel far to get to the plate, knowing that it’s rooted in local soil, and made by people passionate about sustainable, community-focused food.
Feast On’s dedication to supporting Ontario’s food system is about reducing environmental impact, supporting regional agriculture, and creating dining experiences that are tied to the land. Eating at a Feast On restaurant makes the meal feel more meaningful—it’s a way of connecting with the place and people who make Ontario’s food scene so unique.
All of the restaurants operated by Niagara Parks, and many others in the region, focus on supporting local farmers and producers. It’s a well-known fact that Niagara Parks goes above and beyond the requirements as they source well over the 25% local minimum Feast On asks for.
