Some New And Exciting Products From Huawei Canada

So it’s the first week of November in Canada, some people are still in a sugar coma from Halloween, some places have had their first snowfall, and the Thanksgiving elves at Huawei Canada are busy getting all their tech ready for the Black Friday sales.

To get you ready for those sales here are a few devices that Huawei Canada has released over the course of 2020. All have been receiving rave reviews around the globe so here’s a little recap so you can update your  holiday list.

Huawei P40 Pro

I’ve been using the Huawei P40 Pro as my primary device for a few months now. In the beginning I was a bit hesitant about not having Google services, which includes the Play Store and all their other apps, but thanks to the Huawei AppGallery and Petal Search I was able to set up my phone with all the apps I need.

The camera on the Huawei P40 Pro

One of the things that attracted me the most to this phone was the camera. The camera on this device is so good it has  achieved the highest DXOMARK score of any cell phone to date. The Leica Quad Camera is made up of 4 separate cameras, each with their own specific function.

AI functionalities give the user such a unique experience with this camera. The Golden Snap AI Best Moment feature takes a 4K moving picture and then recommends the best one based on its internal algorithm. The AI also allows you to use the built-in photo editor to remove passersby and reflections.

The video capabalities on this phone are also worth talking about. It can record 4K 60 fps high resolution videos with both the rear and front cameras, has amazing stabilization, and, my favorite, a feature where the camera picks up the sound of something and it gets louder as you zoom in. So if you’re filming a musician, as you slowly zoom in his music gets louder. It’s as if you’re actually walking up to him.

HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 Pro

I have the HUAWEI WATCH GT and I love it so when I heard about the new HUAWEI WATCH
GT2 Pro I was excited. It was released in Canada during the last week of October and is
currently available at Amazon, Staples, Canada Computers & Electronics, Newegg, Memory
Express, and Visions Electronics. It contains everything you’d expect in a smart watch and more.

Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro

It offers up two weeks of battery life on a single charge, weather updates, and over 100 workout modes such as Cross Country Skiing, Snowboarding, and Golf Driving Range (I need all the help with my swing so I’m definitely going to be using this). The pro-grade fitness data tracking tracks things such as the level of oxygen consumption during exercise, your recovery time, and training intensity, to name just a few.

Not only will it monitor almost everything you do while working out, it’ll also scientifically track and diagnose 6 common types of sleep issues while providing suggestions for better rest. Overall the Health Monitoring features are all very useful.

What sets it apart from other smartwatches is how fashionable it is. Made with scratch resistant Sapphire Glass (second to diamond), with a titanium case and ceramic rear, and a full colour 1.39 inch AMOLED touch screen. The high-end look pairs with anything – workout attire, casual wear, and especially pairs with  elegant attire.

When I wrote about the HUAWEI WATCH GT I mentioned that I wished that it had the ability to play music so that I didn’t have to have my phone on me while exercising. I also mentioned that I’d love to be able to make and receive phone calls, and it’s like Huawei read my blog post and implemented all of those changes for the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 Pro.

HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro

The HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro launched in Canada on the same day as the HUAWEI WATCH GT2Pro. Even before it’s Canadian debut it has been winning awards the world over. It’s selling feature is definitely the Intelligent Dynamic Active Noice Cancellation. This means that the FreeBuds recognizes the ambient sounds intelligently, and alternates between the three noise cancellation modes to best suit your environment.

Huawei Freebuds Pro

When paired with an Andriod phone the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro produce some high-quality recording and sound that makes it the perfect microphone for vloggers. It also has over 7 hours of battery life, which is quite rare for wireless earphones.

Smart technology is built into these FreeBuds. By swiping, pressing or pinching the volumn can be turned up or down, you can take calls, or easily change your music.

Having had such good experiences with Huawei products before, I’m looking forward to spending the next little while with these goodies. I’m definitely excited to explore even more of what they have to offer, and making them work with my everyday life.
